Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloglu met with United Arab Emirates (UAE) Minister of Investment Mohamed Hassan Al Suwaidi.
According to the written statement made by the Ministry, during the meeting held in Istanbul, it was evaluated that the technical delegation consisting of officials from Turkiye, UAE, Iraq and Qatar would quickly conclude the work to be carried out within the scope of the Development Road Project and move the memorandum of understanding to the level of Ministries in a short time.
During the meeting, where possible cooperation opportunities between the two countries in the field of transportation were discussed, Minister Uraloglu gave information about the projects carried out by the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure in Turkiye.
UAE Minister of Investment Al Suwaidi also stated that they are positive about the quadruple agreement within the scope of the Development Road Project and said, “We attach great importance to the Development Road Project. Because we think that this road will provide connection with European and Asian markets. We think that this line will be completed very quickly. We will work on this issue in every sense and we are ready to provide all kinds of support to the project.”
