Turkiye’s Stock Market Sees Significant Rise: BIST 100 Index Increases by 3.64% This Week

This week, the stock market gained profit from investment instruments. BIST 100 index in Borsa Istanbul completed the week with an average gain of 3.64%.

BIST 100 index in Borsa Istanbul completed the week at 10,276.88 points, gaining 3.64% in value. The index saw the lowest point of 9,942.14 and the highest point of 10,286.57 during the week.

During the same period, the Borsa Istanbul Financial Index gained 2.69% to reach 11,412.06 points, the Services Index increased by 3.14% to 9,417.54 points, the Industrial Index rose by 3.65% to 15,046.84 points, and the Technology Index gained 1.67% to reach 14,599.94 points.

SHARES WITH THE MOST PREMIUM

Among the stocks included in the BIST 100 index at Borsa Istanbul, the highest rise this week was Sasa Polyester with 14.18%. Sasa Polyester was followed by Vestel Electronic with 14.03% and Uzmanmatik Technology with 11.43%.

Among the stocks in question, the ones that lost the most value were Dogus Automotive with 6.04%, Reeder Technology with 2.96% and Mia Technology with 2.63%.

The most valuable companies whose shares were traded in Borsa Istanbul were Koc Holding with ₺590 billion 103 million, Turkish Airlines with ₺448 billion 500 million and Ford Automotive with ₺397 billion 581 million.

GOLD AND DOLLAR PRICES FELL

The gram price of 24 carat gold bullion decreased by 2.13% to ₺2,384 last week, and the price of Republic gold decreased by 2.98% to ₺15877.

The selling price of the dollar decreased by 0.31% to ₺32.3450, and the selling price of the euro increased by 0.31% to ₺34.8410.

The selling price of the British pound, which was ₺40.7120 last week, increased by 0.25% to ₺40.8150 this week.

The Swiss franc found buyers at ₺35.7200, with an increase of 0.67% compared to the previous week.
