vivo continues its investments in the Turkish market with the opening of a new line at the vivo Turkiye factory.

Vivo, which has an annual production capacity of approximately 200 million smartphones with 8 production centers in China, North Africa, South and Southeast Asia, opened its Turkiye production facility in 2021 with a total investment of $20 million. In this production facility, vivo Turkiye manufactures Y series devices, which are highly appreciated in the segment with their stylish design and high performance.

Vivo, the official smartphone of the FIFA World Cup, which is followed closely by the whole world with the excitement of the final, continues its investments around the world. In the statement made by vivo Turkiye investor Jianhua Li, it was given the good news that the brand will continue to invest in the Turkish market and its customers without slowing down. As a first result of this, after the increasing demand, the capacity of the facility, which produces with 2 production lines, was increased and the third production line was commissioned.

With the third production line to be opened on December 19, the production capacity will increase by 35%, while 90 new jobs will be created. In his statement on the subject, Li stated that they are happy to contribute to the Turkish economy by providing new employment; “We are very hopeful about the Turkish smartphone market and we plan all our investments accordingly. After the new V25 5G and Y series models, which we have recently completed, we are now experiencing the happiness of bringing a new production line to our Turkiye production facility.
