Turkey, in the first five months of the 2022-2023 hazelnut export season, sold 153 thousand 275 tons of hazelnuts and earned $883 million 567 thousand 187.
In the written statement made by the Black Sea Hazelnut and Products Exporters’ Association, information was given about the period of September 1, 2022-January 31, 2023, which is the first five months of the 2022-2023 export season.
In the statement, it was noted that 153 thousand 275 tons of hazelnuts were sold abroad for $883 million 567 thousand 187 in the said period, and that the export in January was $142 million 683 thousand 765 in return for 22 thousand 870 tons of hazelnuts.
