Turkiye is one of the most valuable ecosystems that can attract $1 trillion of investment in the next 10 years

This week’s guest of the investment vision is Colendi Founding Partner and CEO Bulent Tekmen: “I believe that Turkiye is one of the most valuable ecosystems that can attract perhaps $1 trillion of investment in the next 10 years, and that there will be a period in which we will experience a reverse brain drain.”

This week’s guest of the investment vision is Colendi Founding Partner and CEO Bulent Tekmen.

Tekmen said, “The world’s largest profit-producing sector is financial technology. We are talking about a world that includes banking services, financial services and financial sector services that produce around $6.5 trillion of profit annually. At the center of the world we have come to, products and perhaps services that can be developed with data and artificial intelligence will come into play. The most effective companies that benefit the end user will come to the fore.

The world’s best banking infrastructures are in our banks, and the best technologies are in our technology producing companies. We need to make a difference. We need to create world brands in all of these technologies.”

Commenting that “very good entrepreneurship stories will be heard in the near future,” Tekmen said, “In order to get to this point, you need to interview thousands of people and get a ‘no’ answer from 95% of them. The common feature of successful entrepreneurs is not to give up. I think that Turkiye has the most aggressive ecosystem and initiatives with its stakeholders in the world in terms of entrepreneurial spirit. This is a big advantage. I believe that Turkiye is one of the most valuable ecosystems that can attract perhaps $1 trillion of investment in the next 10 years and that there will be a period in which we will experience a reverse brain drain. We see that the interest of foreign investors will continue to increase.”

Tekmen said, “When you position artificial intelligence correctly, the new world will be very different.”
