Service Exporters’ Association (HIB) Board Member Prof. Dr. Orhan Gazi Yigitbasi said, “We have a leadership potential with our technological infrastructure, affordable treatment costs, ease of transportation and personnel quality in health service exports that leverage both the tourism and passenger transportation sectors.”
Raising the number of target countries to 60, Turkiye has become the preferred destination especially for countries in close geography. Yigitbasi stated that the service sectors, which are “flueless industries”, make a great contribution to both employment and exports, and said:
“We have no doubt that we will reach the export target of $110 billion in a short time with the support of our President, our ministries and our general directorate, and with the incentives announced with the intense work they spend.”
