While Ulker continues to grow both in Turkiye and with its export and international operations in the nine months of 2023, its turnover reached ₺32 billion.
Ulker Biskuvi announced its financial performance for the nine months of 2023. In its statement to the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP), the company said stated that in the nine-month period of 2023, it increased its turnover by 67% compared to the same period of the previous year, reaching ₺32 billion, and the share of the Turkiye operation in the turnover was 65%, and the share of the export and foreign operations in the turnover was 35%.
Ulker CEO (CEO) Mete Buyurgan, whose evaluation on the issue was included in the statement, stated that they maintain their market leadership in biscuits and chocolate in Turkiye.
Buyurgan stated that the strong operational performance and new launches of the biscuit, chocolate and cake categories also had an impact on Ulker Biskuvi’s 9-month performance and said:
‘We are a strong player in our region, we continue our leadership in the biscuit market in Saudi Arabia and Egypt. Our strong growth trend continues in Kazakhstan and Central Asian countries. With the power provided by our agile management approach, we work to move our company further and contribute to Turkiye’s sustainable development vision. Our consumers are our focus in every step we take. We are constantly improving our production, supply and logistics infrastructure and increasing our investments in R&D, innovation and digitalization and sustainability. We continue to provide added value to our employees, consumers and stakeholders by maintaining our growth performance in the 100th anniversary of our Republic.’
