The number of tourists coming to Antalya between January 1 and November 30 reached 15 million 371 thousand 773, breaking an all-time record.
According to the data of the Provincial Directorate of Culture and Tourism, Antalya, which stands out with its sea, sand, sun, historical and touristic places, luxury facilities and natural beauties, hosts tourists from different countries.
The number of tourists coming to Antalya, where tourists from different nationalities prefer their holidays, reached 15 million 371 thousand 773 in the period between January 1 and November 30, leaving behind 2019, which is known as a record year in tourism.
The number of tourists arriving to the city by air in the 12 months of 2019 was 15 million 218 thousand 188. This year, an all-time record was broken with the number of tourists arriving in an 11-month period.
The countries that sent the most tourists to Antalya this year were Russia with 3 million 401 thousand 704 tourists, Germany second with 3 million 285 thousand 822 guests, England third with 1 million 188 thousand 263 tourists, and Poland fourth with 1 million 58 thousand 943 guests. These countries were followed by the Netherlands, Kazakhstan, Romania and Czechia.
