The construction cost index increased by 4.62% on a monthly basis and 66.46% on an annual basis in August.
Turkish Statistical Institute announced the construction cost index data for August.
Accordingly, the index increased by 4.62% in August compared to the previous month and by 66.46% compared to the same month last year.
On a monthly basis, the material index increased by 5.82% and the labor index increased by 1.92%. On an annual basis, the material index increased by 52.18% and the labor index increased by 113.27%.
The building construction cost index increased by 4.09% in August compared to the previous month and by 65.48% compared to the same month last year. In August, the material index increased by 5.15% and the labor index increased by 1.83% compared to the previous month. Compared to the same month last year, the material index increased by 50.28% and the labor index increased by 113.11%.
The construction cost index for non-building structures increased by 6.3% in August compared to the previous month and by 69.61% compared to the same month last year. In these buildings, the material index increased by 7.81% and the labor index increased by 2.26% compared to the previous month. Compared to the same month last year, the material index increased by 57.99% and the labor index increased by 113.85%.
