Economic relations between Turkiye and Pakistan will continue to strengthen

Yousaf Junaid, who was appointed as the Pakistani Ankara Ambassador in the past months, met with the SANKON delegation. While the economic relations and historical ties of the two countries were discussed at the meeting, it was stated that the economic relations between Turkish companies and Pakistani companies would continue to strengthen.

Industry and Trade Confederation (SANKON) Chairman Ferudun Cevahiroglu and his delegation met with Yousaf Junaid, who was appointed as Pakistan’s Ankara Ambassador in the past months. The meeting was also held during the visit to the Pakistan Embassy in Ankara. In addition to the economic and strategic relations between the two countries, historical ties were also discussed. Both sides stated that their cooperation will continue.

Congratulating Junaid on his appointment, SANKON Chairman Ferudun Cevahiroglu said, “First of all, I congratulate you on your appointment to the Pakistani Ankara Embassy and I express our satisfaction as Turkish companies. We have strong and unshakable historical ties between the two countries and their peoples. The state of Pakistan has the feature of being the strongest strategic partner and ally of the Republic of Turkiye in the Asian region. As Turkish companies, we welcome this situation with great pleasure and support it with our strongest feelings. As Turkish companies, in order to contribute to our economic, commercial, import and export relations between Turkiye and Pakistan, our cooperation with the Pakistani Ankara Embassy, which has been going on for 10 years, will continue with great determination in the next period.”

Pakistani Ankara Ambassador Yousaf Junaid said, “Thank you very much for the visit. We have very strong relations as two countries, but we need to strengthen these relations even more. I invite you to do business and trade in the Pakistani state. Pakistan is your country too. In order to contribute to our economic, commercial, import and export relations between Turkiye and Pakistan, our existing cooperation with SANKON will continue from now on.”
