Setting out for “more than just a car”, Togg made a statement about the NFT auction process it started for special series vehicles. Important information was shared for the citizens who stated that they were affected by the postponed auction process after the earthquakes in Kahramanmaras.

Here is Togg’s statement:

“Togg announced that the NFT auction, which started with great interest on February 5, was stopped on February 6 due to the earthquake disasters that shook our country deeply, and postponed it to a later date at 08:46 in the morning.

The NFT auction, which was processed on the blockchain with the smart contract, which will be completed 10 days after the day it started, ended by itself, as clearly stated in its specification, in this time period when the material and moral destructive effects of the earthquake were experienced deeply.

After the announcement that the auction was postponed, some users withdrew their AVAX from their Trumore digital asset wallets, while others continued to keep them in their wallets. (It should be made clear here that Togg has no authority to interfere with users’ wallets, seize, block, sell and then repurchase their AVAX.)

The postponement of the NFT auction, which will give the right to order 100th Anniversary Special Series vehicles, did not change Togg’s plans. The brand will start taking pre-orders on its website and Trumore app in March, its orders and order of delivery will be determined by drawing lots, and it will start delivering its first smart devices to its users as of the end of March.

Togg, who did not find it right to hold a new auction in such a difficult time we are in as a country and right after the disaster, said, “100. The NFT auction, which provides the right to participate in the pre-order and determine the order of receiving for Togg smart devices, will hold the NFT auction in 2023 and will start the deliveries of the relevant series as of October 29. Users who have AVAX in their account to participate in the postponed NFT auction will be able to participate in the NFT auction, which will be held in 2023 without changing the conditions, with their existing AVAX and maintain their right to have the 100th Anniversary Special Series Collection. Users who have AVAX in their digital wallets can withdraw their AVAX from their wallets, or they can continue to keep them in their wallets and participate in the NFT auction.

Togg will produce 20,000 smart devices in 2023 and smart devices will be delivered to their users throughout the year.”
