The Ministry of Commerce has determined the customs directorates authorized to carry out the procedures for the free circulation of solar panel goods.
The Customs General Communiqué prepared by the Ministry was published in the Official Gazette.
The Communiqué included the principles regarding the application of solar panel specialty customs.
Accordingly, the free circulation entry procedures for goods not originating from the European Union and the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and included in the relevant customs tariff statistical position will be made through the customs directorates of Ankara, Istanbul Airport, Kayseri, Konya and Samsun.
The goods brought to the Turkish customs territory within the scope of the investment incentive certificate, and brought back after being removed from the Turkish customs territory within the scope of the relevant articles of the Customs Law, will be able to enter into free circulation from the authorized customs office.
The free circulation transactions of the goods, which are determined by the customs administration to be of Turkish origin, manufactured in the free zone by the companies that certify that they are producing solar panels in the free zone, can be carried out from the customs directorates that carry out the customs procedures of this zone.
The Communiqué will enter into force on 1 January 2023.
