Regarding the company’s rise to the 47th rank in the “Defense News Top 100” list for 2023, ASELSAN General Manager Ahmet Akyol said, “We are proud to raise the bar day by day by ranking 47th among the world’s largest defense companies. Our place in the list is proof that we have crowned the distance covered by the Turkish defense industry in the global arena.”
According to the statement made by ASELSAN, ASELSAN, a company of the Turkish Armed Forces Foundation, rose to the 47th rank in the 2023 “Defense News Top 100” list published by Defense News, a military publishing company headquartered in the USA, based on defense sales.
Continuing its steady growth, ASELSAN entered the list of the world’s top 100 defense industry companies for the first time in 2006, ranking 97th.
“We will continue to work with all our strength”
ASELSAN General Manager Ahmet Akyol, whose views were included in the statement, noted that they continue to be the pride of Turkiye with their national technologies and export-oriented defense industry strategy.
Noting that they will continue to work to increase exports, Akyol made the following assessments:
