The construction cost index increased by 1.52% on a monthly basis and 66.49% on an annual basis in November 2023.
Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) announced the construction cost index data for the November 2023 period.
Accordingly, the index increased by 1.52% in November compared to the previous month and 66.49% compared to the same month of 2022.
On a monthly basis, the material index increased by 2.06% and the labor index increased by 0.19%.
On an annual basis, the material index increased by 53.46% and the labor index increased by 110.77%.
The building construction cost index increased by 1.87% in November 2023 compared to the previous month and 66.06% compared to the same month of the previous year. In November, the material index increased by 2.55% and the labor index increased by 0.28% compared to the previous month. Compared to November 2022, the material index increased by 52.38% and the labor index increased by 110.73%.
The construction cost index for non-building structures increased by 0.40% in November compared to the previous month and by 67.91% compared to the same month of the previous year. In these buildings, the material index increased by 0.60% compared to the previous month, while the labor index decreased by 0.15%. The material index increased by 56.83% and the labor index increased by 110.94% on an annual basis.
