Global natural gas production is expected to exceed 4 trillion cubic meters this year

It is estimated that global natural gas production will reach 4 trillion 44 billion cubic meters in 2023.

According to the Monthly Gas Market Report of the Gas Exporting Countries Forum, high prices and geopolitical tensions, which started with the Russia-Ukraine War, suppressed gas demand and production last year.

This year, global natural gas production is expected to increase by 0.2% compared to last year and reach 4 trillion 44 billion cubic meters, with North America, the Middle East, Latin America and the Caribbean leading the production increase.

It is predicted that natural gas production will be 263 billion cubic meters in Africa, 645 billion cubic meters in Asia Pacific and 801 billion cubic meters in the Commonwealth of Independent States, 159 billion cubic meters in Latin America and the Caribbean, 224 billion cubic meters in Europe, 706 billion cubic meters in the Middle East, and 1246 billion cubic meters in North America.
