Turkish Statistical Institute announced the construction cost index data for October.
Accordingly, the index increased by 3.44% in October compared to the previous month and increased by 117.07% compared to the same month of the previous year.
On a monthly basis, the material index increased by 3.88% and the labor index increased by 1.94%. On an annual basis, the material index increased by 128.41% and the labor index increased by 85.65%.
The building construction cost index increased by 3.11% in October compared to the previous month and increased by 114.49% compared to the same month of the previous year. Compared to the previous month, the material index increased by 3.49% and the labor index increased by 1.91%. The material index increased by 125.08% and the labor index increased by 85.84% compared to the same month of the previous year.
The construction cost index for non-building structures increased by 4.48% in October compared to the previous month and by 125.83% compared to the same month of the previous year. Compared to the previous month, the material index increased by 5.12% and the labor index increased by 2.07%. In October, the material index increased by 139.4% compared to the same month of the previous year, and the labor index increased by 84.93%.
